Food
Places to eat on Campus
Cornell provides a website with up-to-date information on what dining options are available near your location at now.dining.cornell.edu .
Places to eat in Collegetown (near campus)
The Collegetown neighborhood is about a 10-12 minute walk from the conference venue (Klarman Hall). The restaurants cater to students and are generally moderate in price. As you cross the bridge to Collegetown from campus, you are on College Avenue. Dryden Road is the first light; many restaurants are on the first block to the right (downhill). Eddy Street is one block down Dryden Road. Stewart Avenue is another block down and is probably the best reached by this route. Collegetown also has some small grocery stores if you need food or miscellaneous items.
For coffee and quick breakfast/lunch:
- Collegetown Bagels: Local Ithaca chain serving bagels, coffee, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, and salads. The Collegetown branch, next to campus, has some nice outdoor seating.
- Café Gola: Local coffee with pastries and sandwiches.
- Chatty Cathy: Coffee, smoothies, açai bowls.
- Pokeland: Customizable poke bowls, burritos, and salads.
- GreenStar: Organic grocery store with hot bar and snacks.

Places to eat downtown
The Commons is about a 20-25 walk downhill from campus, and a bit longer uphill. There are also busses running frequently between Klarman hall (Goldwin Smith stop) and the Commons/Downtown (Seneca street stop). Most of the restaurants are within walking distance of the Seneca street bus stop and the Commons. Some the downtown restaurants are a bit further away.
